The New York Citizens' Committee on Aging provides an impartial forum to promote the exchange of information among a wide range of agencies and individuals. It sponsors presentations by experts in their fields for members and the general public on timely issues effecting older persons continued. From time to time the Committee has held major forums and conferences on subjects such as: Social Security, Medicare, Economic Challenges Facing Older Women, Diversity, and Elder Poverty in New York City.
