Initiated by its Public Policy Committee, the New York Citizens’ Committee on Aging develops and disseminates position papers that provide leadership in priority areas of housing, health, income and social services, specifically, Social Security, Medicare, Assisted Living, Caregiver Support, Economic Security, Elder Abuse and Long-Term Care. In 2007, the Committee published A Policy Agenda for Promoting the Well-Being of New York’s Older Citizens containing its public policy statements.
