Members of the Committee provide testimony to policy makers and government bodies on issues of concern to older New Yorkers. Recently the Committee has commented on the New York City Department for the Aging’s Annual Plans, and presented testimony regarding elder poverty to the New York State Division of the Budget Public Hearings, and at a hearing of the New York State Economic Security Cabinet.
